Where Ocean Spray Apartments Is in Barbados
Ocean Spray Apartments is on Surfer’s Point at Inch Marlow in Christ Church, on the south east coast of Barbados, fifteen minutes and 4.3 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport.
Fifteen minutes from the airport
Grantley Adams International Airport is 4.3 miles from our oceanfront vacation rental, about fifteen minutes by road. Most guests do not know how close the south east corner of Christ Church sits to the airport until they land, and it is the single best thing about the location.
About the beach here, plainly
The water directly in front of Ocean Spray is Surfer’s Point, which is a surf break rather than a swimming beach. Silver Sands, about a mile away, is the nearest swimming beach and takes a short drive or roughly a twenty minute walk.
We say that before anyone books rather than after. Guests who come for the surf, the quiet and the kitchen love it here. Guests expecting to swim off the lawn would rather have known.
Shops and food
Buffy’s, the local supermarket, is within walking distance of our Barbados apartments, so a self catering week does not start with a car hire. Mamu’s Café on site serves breakfast, lunch and grill nights, with salads grown at Coco Hill Forest, our fruit forest inland.
Surfing from the door
Surfer’s Point breaks directly in front of the property and is one of the best places in Barbados to learn. Freight’s Bay is close by for a gentler day and South Point is nearby when the swell picks up. Zed’s Surfing Adventures runs lessons and board hire on the same break.
The area
Inch Marlow is a quiet residential corner of Christ Church with no tourist strip, which is the reason people choose it. Silver Sands, a mile west, is the centre of kitesurfing and windsurfing in Barbados.
