The Property for Your Retreat
Ocean Spray Apartments is an exclusive use retreat venue in Barbados at Inch Marlow, Christ Church. A retreat group takes the whole property, which is twenty five apartments, an ocean facing yoga deck, the garden, Mamu’s Café and the surf break at Surfer’s Point, with nobody else on site.
The whole property, not a room in it
A retreat group here is the only group here. That matters more for a retreat than any single facility, because the atmosphere holds from the first morning to the last. Our vacation rentals run from studios to a three bedroom sleeping six, so organisers put people together or apart depending on what they are running.
A retreat day
Mornings start with a flow on the ocean facing yoga deck above the Atlantic. Breakfast is made at Mamu’s Café, with salads from Coco Hill Forest, our fruit forest inland. The surf break at Surfer’s Point out front is one of the best places in Barbados to learn. Coco Hill Forest gives groups somewhere inland to hike when everyone wants a day off the coast.
Getting a group here
Ocean Spray is fifteen minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport. Silver Sands, the nearest swimming beach, is about a mile away. Buffy’s, the local supermarket, is within walking distance.
