When can you surf in Barbados?

For surfing; there is almost always a break in Barbados and our location (and nearby Freight’s Bay) is excellent for beginners.

A 3–5 day surf break is what a lot of our guests enjoy.

Mid-Dec–March is good for kitesurfing and for our rain forest tour and hikes from January to August.

When is the best time to visit Barbados?

Barbados has a mild tropical climate with average temperature of 28C and has been known as a recuperative destination from the 1800’s. The dry season is normally from Jan–June and the rainy season from July to December.

THE COASTLINE

Stay oceanfront in Barbados' with the coastline seconds away

We are home to one of the best spots to learn to surf; Surfer’s Point, with South Point and Freight’s Bay nearby. 5 minutes by bus is Miami Beach, a calm and popular swimming beach.

The world famous Crane Beach is about 15 minutes to the east and nearby is Harrismith and Bottom’s Bay beaches.
