Ocean Spray Apartments is a beach wedding venue in Christ Church, Barbados, with an oceanfront ceremony lawn on Surfer’s Point, twenty five apartments on site for guests, and catering from Mamu’s Café. Couples can also take the whole property, so the only people here that weekend are theirs.
The ceremony lawn
The lawn runs from the apartments to the water at Surfer’s Point. Carpet grass, coconut palms and sea grape sit between, with the Atlantic behind whoever stands at the front. There is no function room and no chandelier, which is the reason couples choose this oceanfront venue over a hotel ballroom. Morning ceremonies face the sunrise, and late afternoon gives couples the light most are actually after.
Your guests sleep here
Twenty five apartments on site run from studios to a three bedroom sleeping six. Wedding guests walk from their apartment to the ceremony and back at the end of the night, which removes the taxi problem that shapes so many Barbados weddings.
Catering
Mamu’s Café caters weddings with home made local dishes and fresh coffee, and the salads are grown at Coco Hill Forest, our fruit forest inland.
