Three to Five Day Surf Breaks in Barbados
There is almost always a break in Barbados, and our location (and nearby Freight’s Bay) is excellent for beginners. A 3–5 day surf break is what a lot of our guests enjoy. South Point and Freight’s Bay are minutes away, and mid-Dec–March is good for kitesurfing.
Wax up, paddle out, and come back to a full kitchen, a hot shower and breakfast at Mamu’s Café.

The break out front
Surfer’s Point is one of the best places in Barbados to learn to surf. Freight’s Bay is close by for a gentler day, and South Point is nearby for when the swell picks up. There is almost always something breaking within a short drive.
What comes with the stay
Board storage sits on site, so boards do not live in the apartment or on a roof rack. Every apartment is self catering with a full kitchen and a hot shower to come back to. Mamu’s Café covers breakfast in the garden for anyone out since first light.
Where surfers sleep
Surfers stay in any of our vacation rentals, from a studio for one or two people to the three bedroom sleeping six. Every apartment is air conditioned, self catering, and faces the water. Grantley Adams International Airport is fifteen minutes away.
One honest note
Surfer’s Point is a break, not a swimming beach. Guests wanting flat water at the end of the day find it at Silver Sands, about a mile away.
