A studio is one bright room with the bed, the seating area and a full kitchen sharing the same sea view, which is easier to live in than a large empty apartment. A one bedroom gives a separate bedroom and a door to close, which matters more the longer the stay.
Working from Barbados
Every apartment has air conditioning, a full kitchen and desk space, and Mamu's Café is in the garden when a change of scene helps. Buffy's, the local supermarket, is within walking distance, so a month here does not need a car hire.
What is in the area to do
Surfer's Point breaks directly in front of the property, and Zed's Surfing Adventures runs lessons and board hire on the same break. Silver Sands, about a mile away, is the nearest swimming beach and the centre of kitesurfing in Barbados. Coco Hill Forest, our fruit forest inland, is somewhere to walk when the coast gets repetitive.
